This Dell NVMe backplane-to-board cable assembly is used in PowerEdge R750 24 x 2.5-inch NVMe drive-bay configurations, with applicability to supported PowerEdge R7525 layouts using the same NVMe backplane cabling. It connects the front 2.5-inch NVMe backplane to the system board, providing the internal connection needed for the server’s NVMe drive bays. Compatibility depends on the 24-bay 2.5-inch NVMe chassis layout, the installed NVMe backplane, and the corresponding board and backplane connectors; it is not the SAS/SATA backplane cable for non-NVMe storage layouts.
