The Dell PowerEdge R760xa is a high-performance 2U dual-socket rack server purpose-built for demanding GPU-accelerated workloads. Supporting up to two 5th Generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors with as many as 64 cores per processor, or two 4th Generation Xeon Scalable processors with up to 56 cores each, the R760xa combines substantial CPU performance with up to 32 DDR5 DIMM slots and as much as 8TB of registered ECC memory. Its accelerator-focused architecture supports up to four 400W double-width PCIe x16 GPUs or as many as twelve 75W single-width PCIe x8 GPUs, with support for accelerator options from NVIDIA, AMD, and Intel.

Designed for AI, machine learning and deep-learning training and inferencing, digital twins, rendering and graphics, virtualization, and VDI graphics, the PowerEdge R760xa places its accelerators toward the front of the chassis to support efficient air cooling and higher-TDP GPUs. PCIe Gen5 expansion, DDR5 memory, E3.S Gen5 NVMe storage, and support for Gen4 NVLink provide high-bandwidth pathways for data-intensive workloads, while optional direct liquid cooling offers an additional thermal-management option. Integrated iDRAC9 and Dell OpenManage tools provide enterprise-class lifecycle management and automation for large-scale accelerated computing environments.
