This Dell high-performance cooling fan is designed for PowerEdge R440, R6415, and R6515 servers that require the higher-airflow fan option. It supports chassis cooling for thermal-demand configurations such as higher-TDP processors, dense memory, NVMe or high-drive-count storage layouts, and supported expansion hardware. Fan selection depends on the server model, fan bay layout, required airflow tier, processor and storage configuration, airflow shroud, and the fan performance level used in the other chassis positions.
