This Dell PowerEdge R730xd is a 13th-generation 2U rack server configuration with a small-form-factor storage layout: 24 x 2.5-inch front drive bays, 2 x 2.5-inch rear drive bays, and six PCIe expansion slots. The 2.5-inch bays support SAS/SATA drive configurations, while the rear-bay option adds additional in-chassis drive capacity and the six-slot PCIe layout supports expansion through the installed risers.
