Dell PowerEdge M640 Blade Server

This Dell PowerEdge M640 is a modular blade server node for Dell PowerEdge blade infrastructure. It installs into a blade enclosure and uses the enclosure for shared power, cooling, management access, and external I/O, while the blade provides the server compute configuration through its supported processor, memory, local storage, and mezzanine adapter options.

Compatibility depends on the Dell blade enclosure, slot layout, chassis power and cooling capacity, management firmware, mezzanine card type, enclosure I/O fabric mapping, and the installed storage/backplane arrangement. The final server configuration should be aligned with the CPU and memory population, drive layout, networking or storage fabric, and firmware requirements used in the M640 environment.
