This Dell PowerEdge FC430 is a modular blade server node for Dell PowerEdge FX infrastructure. It installs as an FC430 compute sled in the chassis and relies on the enclosure for shared power, cooling, management, and network fabric connectivity rather than the cabling layout of a standalone rack server. Compatibility depends on the enclosure generation, available blade slots, mezzanine or networking options, storage configuration, processor and memory population, firmware level, and the chassis management configuration used with the FC430.
