This Dell PowerVault ME4024 barebones storage chassis is a 2U ME4-series array base for 24 front-access 2.5-inch drive bays. It provides the enclosure foundation for an ME4024 storage configuration, with drive population, controller modules, host interface type, power supply modules, rails, bezel, and management firmware determining the final usable array configuration. Final configuration depends on the installed ME4024-compatible controllers and power modules, the required SAS, iSCSI, or Fibre Channel connectivity, and the supported drive and caddy layout for the chassis.
