This Dell PERC H740P Mini Mono RAID controller provides hardware RAID management for Dell server configurations with an internal Mini Mono PERC slot. It supports SAS and SATA storage through the server backplane and uses a PCIe 3.x host interface, with 8GB of non-volatile cache for cache-assisted array performance. Compatibility depends on the server’s Mini Mono controller slot, backplane and drive interface, cable set, firmware support, and the storage layout enabled for the chassis.
