This Brocade 16Gb long-wave SFP transceiver provides optical Fibre Channel connectivity for Brocade switch and storage-fabric ports that accept Brocade-coded 16Gb FC LW optics. The 10 km rating is intended for longer single-mode fiber links, with compatibility depending on the host port’s transceiver support, the fiber type and distance, and a matching optical module at the far end.
