This Dell 1.92TB enterprise SSD provides 2.5-inch SAS solid-state storage for Dell server or storage-array configurations that use SAS drive bays. It uses TLC NAND with a read-intensive endurance class and a 24Gbps SAS interface, installing through a 2.5-inch hot-swap carrier into a SAS backplane connected to the system storage controller. Compatibility depends on the chassis drive-bay form factor, carrier style, SAS backplane and controller support, firmware support for Dell enterprise SSDs, and whether the system can operate 24Gbps SAS drives at the intended link speed.
