Final configuration depends on the installed processors, memory population, PCIe risers, storage controller or HBA, NVMe backplane and cabling, power supplies, and 2.5-inch drive carriers; NVMe drive use requires the proper NVMe-capable backplane and PCIe connectivity, while SAS/SATA drives require the appropriate Dell-supported PERC, HBA, or controller configuration.
