This Dell 3.5-inch hot-swap drive sled is the carrier tray for SAS or SATA hard drives in PowerEdge C6100 and C6220 server chassis. It positions the drive in the front hot-swap bay so the drive connector seats with the system backplane; compatibility depends on a C6100 or C6220 chassis with 3.5-inch hot-swap drive bays and is not intended for 2.5-inch bay layouts.
