OEM LSI MegaRAID 9271-8i

This OEM LSI MegaRAID 9271-8i is a PCIe hardware RAID controller for internal SAS and SATA storage. It provides eight internal 6Gb/s drive lanes, commonly cabled through two internal mini-SAS SFF-8087 connectors to a server backplane or direct-attached drive set, and supports MegaRAID hardware RAID configurations for multi-drive storage arrays. Compatibility depends on an available PCIe x8 or x16 slot, chassis clearance and airflow, the correct internal SAS cabling and backplane layout, drive type support, and operating-system driver support for the MegaRAID 9271 series.
