This Intel Xeon CPU Max 9462 is a 32-core, 64-thread Sapphire Rapids HBM server processor for FCLGA4677 boards with Xeon CPU Max Series firmware support and a 350W CPU thermal design. It runs at a 2.70GHz base frequency with up to 3.50GHz turbo, includes 75MB cache, supports 16GT/s Intel UPI with up to three UPI links for multi-processor server designs, and provides PCIe 5.0 connectivity with up to 80 lanes. Memory support includes 8-channel ECC DDR5, up to 4800 MT/s at 1 DIMM per channel or 4400 MT/s at 2 DIMMs per channel; installation also depends on the server board’s CPU population rules, BIOS level, 350W heatsink and airflow configuration, and supported DIMM population.
