Compatibility depends on server support for Sapphire Rapids processors, the FCLGA4677 socket, BIOS/firmware level, 270W thermal design, heatsink and fan configuration, and memory population rules, including up to DDR5-4800 at 1DPC or DDR5-4400 at 2DPC across 8 memory channels. Dual-socket use requires a supported two-processor board configuration and an appropriate processor pairing.
