This Microsoft Windows Server 2019 Remote Desktop Services User CAL provides one per-user client access license for Remote Desktop Services in a Windows Server 2019 environment. It is intended for deployments using RDS roles such as Remote Desktop Session Host and should be used with a properly configured RDS license server; it licenses one user rather than one device and does not include the Windows Server operating system license or the base Windows Server CALs required for general server access.
