This Dell enterprise SSD provides 3.84TB of solid-state storage in a 2.5-inch SAS form factor with a 12Gb/s interface. It uses TLC NAND and a read-intensive endurance class for storage tiers with heavier read activity than sustained write activity. Installation requires a 2.5-inch SAS drive bay connected to a SAS backplane and RAID controller or HBA that supports SAS SSDs, along with the required Dell drive carrier and firmware support for the chassis or storage array.
