Dell R740 8x 3.5" S140 Assembly Cable

This Dell S140 RAID assembly cable is used in PowerEdge R740 servers configured with 8 x 3.5-inch front drive bays and the embedded S140 storage controller. It connects the 3.5-inch drive backplane to the system board storage connections for SATA drive support through the S140 controller, and should be used with the R740 8-bay LFF chassis layout rather than PERC/SAS cabling layouts or other drive-bay configurations.
