This Dell standard heatsink is a processor cooling assembly for the primary CPU position in a Precision T7920 workstation. It mounts over the first CPU socket to transfer heat from the installed processor into the workstation’s internal airflow, and should be used with the correct T7920 socket location, retention hardware, fan and airflow shroud layout, and CPU thermal rating for the system configuration.
