This Dell rear fan module is for the PowerEdge MX7000 modular enclosure and installs in the chassis rear fan area to support airflow across the enclosure, installed sleds, and rear I/O modules. It should be used in MX7000 rear fan positions that call for Dell part number 6MR9W; fan population should follow the chassis fan bay layout and redundancy requirements, and this module is not intended for sled-level cooling or other PowerEdge server models.
