This Dell PowerVault ME4012 is a barebones 2U ME4 Series storage array chassis used as the base enclosure for shared SAN or direct-attached storage configurations. The ME4012 uses a 12-bay large-form-factor drive layout; final configuration depends on the installed ME4 controller modules, host interface type, supported drive mix and capacity, power supplies, rail kit, firmware level, and any attached expansion shelves.
