This Broadcom 16Gb Fibre Channel SWL SFP+ transceiver provides short-wave optical connectivity for Fibre Channel SAN equipment. It installs in an SFP+ port on a supported host bus adapter or Fibre Channel switch and connects to multimode fiber cabling for 16Gb FC links. Compatibility depends on the device accepting Broadcom-qualified 16Gb FC SFP+ optics, the required short-wave optical type, and the fiber cabling and port speed used in the SAN connection.
