This Dell 2-meter 12Gb SAS cable uses HD-Mini SAS connectors on both ends for external storage cabling. It is commonly used with Dell PowerVault ME4/ME5 arrays and MD1400/MD1420 enclosures to connect mini-SAS HD ports between a host or storage controller and an enclosure, or between supported storage enclosures, where 12Gb SAS external cabling and a 2 m cable length are specified.
