SALES REPRESENTATIVE
JOB SUMMARY
Represents the company to potential/existing clients/customers in an effort to sell a wide variety of pre-owned and refurbished Dell, Compac, IBM, and HP servers. Contacts customers by outbound telephone calls from an assigned database. Develops an ongoing sales relationship with selected customers to generate repeat sales of computer hardware equipment. Follows established sales procedures and processes to insure appropriate customer documentation is completed/maintained and customer follow-up system is implemented and documented. Successfully achieves established sales goals/objectives.
Position reports to the Vice President, Sales.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Contacts customers/clients by making outbound telephone calls from an assigned database.
- Introduces to customers/clients current line of computer hardware products, new products now available and/or special product promotions currently being announced.
- Promptly and efficiently provides appropriate information to potential customers/clients regarding equipment and equipment performance, technical information, delivery schedules, quotations and pricing to enable the customer/client to make a buying decision.
- Identifies customers/clients who seem to have potential for “repeat” sales based on such factors as size of company, number of computer hardware needs currently and/or in the future, and implements a follow-up process to establish ongoing working relationship in an effort to increase sales volume with that respective customer/client.
- Properly and accurately completes sales orders providing all necessary documentation for the products to be assembled according to customer’s specifications, reasonable delivery schedules to be established and sees that appropriate payment/credit terms are completed.
- Maintains current knowledge of company’s products, prices and services, monitors competitive products, prices and services, market conditions, product innovations and keeps management informed on new developments in the marketplace.
- Works closely with other in-house departments as necessary to insure sales orders are accurately completed and responsive service is provided to all customers.
- Maintains a neat and orderly work area and establishes/maintains an organized system of customer/client records and documentation.
EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree
- Two to four years experience in sales with preferred experience in inside sales including telephone experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of computer hardware and systems and/or IT background preferred.
- Demonstrated successful sales results in previous work situations.
- Ability to communicate effectively via the telephone.
- Strong communicative skills both written and verbal with demonstrated effective interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multi-task and/or work with multiple sales accounts concurrently.
- Position requires computer skills including word processing software, spreadsheet software inventory software, internet software, order processing systems and database software.

WAREHOUSE MANAGER
GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB.
This person will manage all activities of incoming IT hardware product, inventory of product, assembly, testing, and shipment of product. The IT hardware product consists of computer servers, workstations and storage devices. An effective leader with the proven ability to hire, coach, train, direct full-time team members. This highly organized person will have responsibility for resource planning, inventory management, project scheduling and tracking, shipping and other related activities.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepares work flow models and specific tasks for inventory of product, assembly of product, and shipping of product.
- Establishes operational procedures and processes for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of facility inventory, inventory systems and processes.
- Strong organizational, analytical, self management and goal setting skills. Must be able to prioritize work and projects, performing successfully with minimal supervision.
- Coordinates and communicates activities of inventory, production and shipping with activities of sales, marketing and purchasing departments to ensure availability of merchandise.
- Establish and maintain a high level of on-time production and delivery schedules. Committed to high customer satisfaction.
- Must be able to work under constant deadlines and handle multiple duties successfully.
- Directs and trains in training workplace safety and plant protection activities.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous supervisory experience required. This position will be responsible for interviewing, hiring, coaching, training and directing.
- High school diploma or equivalent; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in shipping, receiving and inventory management including working with computerized shipping software is a plus.
- Organized and detail oriented with the ability to perform assigned tasks with minimal supervision.

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience shipping, receiving and inventory management including working with computerized shipping software helpful. A high level of computer literacy. Organized and detail oriented with the ability to perform assigned tasks with minimum supervision.
Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
Math Ability:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Usage Skills:
Ability to proficiently use Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and UPS and FedEx shipping/tracking
Equipment Usage Skills:
Ability to proficiently operate multi-line phone system, fax, postage machine, computer, and calculator.

Physical stamina – able to work 8 hour shifts standing 90% of the time.

Work Environment:
In order to properly handle the work flow, it is imperative that all personnel are on the job at the time assigned for them. Start time is 9:00 AM and you must be clocked in and on the job by then.
