Dell PowerVault MD1000
The Dell PowerVault MD1000 is a 3Gb/s serial attached SCSI (SAS) expansion enclosure that offers seamless capacity expansion for existing PoweVault MD3000 and MD3000i arrays. The MD1000 uses higher capacity 3.5" drives and supports mixing both SAS and SATA drives within a single enclosure making it ideal for high-capacity applications. The versatility of the PowerVault MD1000 enables you to configure the specific combination of storage resources you need now, and add more storage volume later.
