The Dell PowerEdge 1750,
while no longer on the cutting edge of technology, is still an excellent option
for businesses looking for a rack-dense system to handle basic needs such as file
or print servers, at an extremely low price.
Featuring dual 533FSB Xeon CPU's (up to 3.2GHz), 3 hot-plug SCSI hard drive bays,
and up to 8GB RAM, the system still has the capabilities of fulfilling a multitude
of roles and occupy very little rack space, at a price tag that may make the 1750
worth another look.
If what you require is latest-generation technology, the 1750 will not be the right
option for you. However if your needs are not extreme and your budget is tight,
the PE 1750 may be an excellent candidate.
